Uganda - Jessy from NPI

Dear Friends,
I hope you are all great. Uganda is great too. This is to
acknowledge receipt of the trophies sent to NPI. I wish to that all
for the efforts done to get these trophies to us in Uganda. We would
however wish to use these to promote sports for youth programme.
Personally, I was of a view, the big trophy could be used for
different peace matches and could be rotational. We are yet to sit and
decide on the logistics involved to run such a programme. Such could
be began towards one big event like the International peace day where
the different schools could compete for the trophy. I will be
discussing with the Ministry of Social Development to see how they can
promote this activity. Once again, thank you for all you are doing.

The youth projects we started in Hoima (goat rearing) and Kitgum (pig
rearing) districts are growing in the right direction. We hope these
will serve to make the youth more involved in their affairs.
