Nepal-- Today at Mangal Secondary School, Kirtipur in a program on applicable drug abuse conducted in the participation of Kalpabatika Samaj Nepal, Kirtipur Community Police and Encouragement Nepal Reform Center. About 90 students from Year 10 participated in the program. According to our community police officer they do programs on drug abuse, cyber crime, road traffic, gender violence, women safety. They think drug abuse, cyber crime and women safety are very effective and much needed.

On
this occasion our attention changed country to Nepal. As drug abuse is one of the serious issues
among young people in Nepal, it's important to reach young people in school and
make them critically aware. We are hoping that after this programme students
will have enhanced knowledge about drug
abuse, related laws and avoid the pitfalls associated with illegal drug use
whilst disseminating their knowledge to others. This initiative also promotes police
community relations and mutual respect.
The children loved interacting with Matt, Jesse, Stella, Bella & Pablo. There were group discussions on the use of technology in schools, "clicker" trials, cultural exchanges and some henna tattoos too! A fun and interactive evening spent by the younger children with our wonderful guests from The Harvard Business School.
