Nepal - Drug Awareness Seminar

 Nepal – from Maiya - "Help your Teen Avoid Drugs" Drug abuse is increasing health and social crisis in Nepal. Teenagers are specially vulnerable to it and are risk of developing long term consequences, such as mental health disorder, underachievement in school and high rate of addiction. We are seeking to make a small effort by doing awareness programmes on drug abuse. This program will make them aware about the side effects of drug abuse, teach prevention strategies and inform them about rehabilitation facilities. Kathmandu Community Police will be working with us and adding positive use of leisure time.

Nepal - Dental Hygiene Programme

 Nepal from Mahendra -- Health Campaign on Dental Hygiene A community-based awareness and free dental check-up program to promote oral health and hygiene, especially among rural school children. Dental Hygiene Project, which includes both practical and educational activities on oral health, brushing habits, and hygiene.

A dental camp was held in Tanahun District with the support of David Tyler Trust and A Ray of Hope UNESCO. Free dental checkups and oral health advice were provided to local people and students. Many people benefited from the basic dental services and guided about proper oral hygiene.

Nepal - Financial Literacy Programme

 Nepal from Mahendra -Financial Literacy Project for school children, teaching saving, budgeting, and basic business skills. Financial Literacy and Business Art Training – Practical training to enhance participants’ financial knowledge and small business skills, especially school level children . I had the opportunity to conduct a Financial Literacy Program at Greenfield School, which was a truly great and memorable experience. The students’ active participation made the session meaningful and successful. I sincerely thank the supporting donor  for providing me with this valuable opportunity and continuous support.
