Dear Young Nigerian Professionals,
We express our gratitude to the Almighty God, Redstrat, People to People International (PTPI) and Nigerian Student Entrepreneurs Club (NSEC), all the wonderful facilitators and participants on the successful completion of the Developing Entrepreneurial skills that impact Nigerian Youths (DESTINY) -with support from A Ray of Hope, Unesco Youth Ambassador for the culture of Peace- a six weekend entrepreneurial programme designed to empower young Nigerians with knowledge and skills that they require to become successful Nigrerian entrepreneurs.
Last weekend which was the final training for the first class of DESTINY featured Mr. Lanre Akinsuin, CEO/MD of Laynet Multisystems Company who shared his story on how he resigned from his high paying job to start his own company. Interestingly, he is below thirty (30) and has his office at Ogba. Participants were thrilled with his story. Also, Mr. Opeyemi Alabi, a young Information Technology Guru and a staff of CELTEL facilitated the session on ICT: Internet and e-business which he titled: How it works. He employed practical experiences on how to take advantage of the cyber space.
Mrs. Itunuade Iyun, didn't fail to take the participants through an interesting session on Business Ethics. It was very interactive and detailed. Participants who didn't understand what professionalism meant had a good understanding on how they can go out there and lead their businesses with ethics. Shortly, Mr. Ayodeji Wole Oyedukun, delivered a paper titled: Managing Business Information. This was to help participants on why and how to manage business information (records and document management).
Finally, we had participants submit their evaluation forms of the training and Messrs Rahman and Oyedokun gave out the certificates of participation to all successful participants. Participants will be followed up on to ensure that their businesses are successfully initiated. Please see pictures attached. The next training will be announced as soon as we make conclude arrangement.
Thank you all.
