from qualified speakers and nurses with the aim of improving well being and proffering medical and health advice.
Ethiopia – From Dr. Elfneh “While I was in Ethiopia, communication was almost impossible, beyond that, I have struggled with a deep sense of disappointment and hesitation as I struggle to find solutions. I have returned completely bewildered by the widespread corruption, injustice, and systemic collapse across the country's social, political, and spiritual institutions.
At present, it is virtually impossible to accomplish anything in Ethiopia without paying bribes; if you refuse to comply, progress simply grinds to a halt. This reality explains our inability to make any meaningful headway with our work there this year. “
It was felt imperative that due to the civil and political climate in Ethiopia the girls in the hostel be given added security from illegal trespassing, and repair the perimeter fence and surrounds.
