Northern Ireland - Aghalee Pharmacy - Congratulations

News Flash It gives me great delight to congratulate Zeta, pharmacists and staff of Aghalee Pharmacy on their prestigious national award for their contribution to Community Health and Well Being. The Pharmacy was proposed by A Ray of Hope as not only was their local contribution to community well being of exceptional quality but their support to our international projects assisted many, alleviated pain and suffering and proffered sound advice. Well done everyone concerned.

A Ray of Hope is not a charity and we try as far as possible never to assist in currency form, but rather prefer to investigate what people, especially children, need throughout the world and to deliver that item directly into their hands. This avoids many of the pitfalls that exist in the world of giving.
We believe that diversity of culture is enrichment and actively look for and promote friendships ..... if we can assist our friends we do.We have little difficulty in obtaining certain educational supplies and to date have distributed over $9 million worth. Some of the smaller items, although easily purchased, we feel it is to the benefit of everyone that those who wish can assist us and in doing so know that they have helped directly.
No member of A Ray of Hope receives financial gain of any kind but the true satisfaction of knowing that, at very least, we are attempting to make a difference.

Anyone who believes cultural diversity is enrichment, enjoys making friends and assisting when one can is welcome to contribute to our work.
