Many thanks from A Ray of Hope, UNESCO Youth Ambassador for the Culture of Peace to the proprietors, staff, and customers of Aghalee Centra, Aghalee Pharmacy, Aghalee Building and Agricultural Supplies .

On this occasion we jump from Nepal to a sizable disabled community in Uganda that is monitored and cared for by Sophie and team as part of Sophgenyi Feeble Care Initiative (Feeble Care Uganda), a registered non-profit organization with a vision to transform the lives of persons with disability (PWDs) within their communities. They advocate for inclusion basing on the principles of “Leaving No One Behind”. It was decided to organise a health and hygiene workshop to instruct on the making of various liquid soap items and cleaning commodities.

Philippines “ Balik Eskuela” or “Back to school”project

“ Balik Eskuela” or “Back to school”project that supports identified less privileged children of one of the poor barangays of Cagayan de Oro! This project aims to help parents lessen their financial burdens on school opening especially there are several children in the family. Thus, our organization help to give & share school supplies to the children( 50 plus kids) beneficiaries such supplies are the following: Plastic envelopes, pencils, grade papers, erasers, rulers & bags also presentations on doing one’s best, fulfilling potential and increased endeavour

A Ray of Hope is not a charity and we try as far as possible never to assist in currency form, but rather prefer to investigate what people, especially children, need throughout the world and to deliver that item directly into their hands. This avoids many of the pitfalls that exist in the world of giving.
We believe that diversity of culture is enrichment and actively look for and promote friendships ..... if we can assist our friends we do.We have little difficulty in obtaining certain educational supplies and to date have distributed over $9 million worth. Some of the smaller items, although easily purchased, we feel it is to the benefit of everyone that those who wish can assist us and in doing so know that they have helped directly.
No member of A Ray of Hope receives financial gain of any kind but the true satisfaction of knowing that, at very least, we are attempting to make a difference.

Anyone who believes cultural diversity is enrichment, enjoys making friends and assisting when one can is welcome to contribute to our work.
