Nigeria ; optometry clinics for children and adults

 Nigeria :  Well done Gladys and her extensive team. Promoting reading including medical aspects, eye tests, ointments, distribution of reading glasses and vitamins and the Optometry service and a selection of reading books. Continuing with previous successful reading and eyesight campaign 200 children in two villages both in Uhunrode local government area of Edo state. Iguogbe village and Uvbe village.

Nigeria - demonstrations and workshops

 A class was held  on how to made Fish roll and fish-pie for the students of Success Dream Academy so they can gain knowledge of how to assist their parents at home with breakfasts and we shared it for all the senior and junior students of the secondary school. We shall also make donations of face-masks and hygiene supplies

Nepal --Collection boxes Aghalee and Aghagallon October, 2023 -

Many thanks from A Ray of Hope, UNESCO Youth Ambassador for the Culture of Peace to the proprietors, staff, and customers of Aghalee Centra, Aghalee Pharmacy, Aghalee Building and Agricultural Supplies, and Hannons Fruit and Vegetables, Aghagallon. The generosity is overwhelming and covers the costs in entirety of this project.

Your support on this occasion was used to organise two dance music cultural heritage concerts and workshops

1. Dhungkharka, a village near Kathmandu which is rich in cultural diversity and natural beauty.

2. Performed in Baneshwor College in Kathmandu.

We originally intended to create awareness with the youth on cyber criminality but this had to be postponed due to examinations - however, it will be considered again in the next period.

 Nigeria - It was found necessary  due to the demand, to repeat the exercise from last year,  focusing on eye tests for children and adults , and the distribution of books and reading  glasses.
